Barr. Amina Muhammad Ali is the Head of the Department of Law at the College for Legal Studies, Yola, and a distinguished Legal Practitioner dedicated to excellence in legal education, research, and professional practice. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B), a Bachelor of Law (B.L), and a Master of Business and Commercial Law (MBCL), with expertise spanning Sharia Law, Civil Law, Business Law, and Commercial Law.
As Head of Department, she provides strategic academic leadership, overseeing curriculum development, quality assurance, and the mentorship of aspiring legal professionals. Her teaching and professional interests focus on equipping students with the knowledge, ethical values, and practical skills required for successful careers in the legal profession.
Barr. Ali is an active member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), the Nigerian Bar Association Women Forum (NBAWF), and the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA). She is also a Certified Mediator with DCON Consult, demonstrating her commitment to alternative dispute resolution and the promotion of access to justice.
